This is a short clip of blooming on Vizio's XVT473SV set. This video demonstrates the blooming effect of the local dimming LEDs on this set. Taken in a brightly lit room, using Cnet settings (+23 backlight) This video is the most extreme example of blooming on a picture that I have found on this set. Otherwise, I really never notice any blooming during normal movie/tv watching or video game playing. In fact, it's the best picture I think I've ever seen on an LCD TV.
