This is a short clip of blooming on Vizio's XVT473SV set. This video demonstrates the blooming effect of the local dimming LEDs on this set. Taken in a brightly lit room, using Cnet settings (+23 backlight) This video is the most extreme example of blooming on a picture that I have found on this set. Otherwise, I really never notice any blooming during normal movie/tv watching or video game playing. In fact, it's the best picture I think I've ever seen on an LCD TV.

This is a video showing problems with my Vizio Theater 3D HDTV with Internet Apps E3D420VX TV. It is not properly functioning within two weeks of purchase. It was returned and exchanged for the same model. I do show some of the features of the TV also. This is my first video so try to understand that I am not good at making them.
